1. Overview
Zordant (“Zordant”, “we”, “us”) is a sole proprietorship registered in Katni, Madhya Pradesh, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect through zordant.com and the products we operate, how we use it, who processes it on our behalf, and the rights available to you.
By using our websites or products, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
2. Data We Collect
We collect only what is required to operate and improve our services.
- Information you provide. Name, email address, phone number where offered, account credentials, and the content of messages you send us.
- Product inputs. Details you submit to a product in order to receive its output — for example date, time, and place of birth in Jyotina.
- Payment information. Card, UPI, and bank details are collected and processed directly by authorised third-party payment gateways. Zordant does not store full card numbers, CVV, or UPI credentials. We retain only transaction identifiers, amount, status, and date.
- Usage and device data. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See section 5.
3. How We Use Data
- To create and manage accounts and deliver the features you request.
- To process payments, issue receipts, and handle refunds or disputes.
- To provide customer support and respond to enquiries.
- To monitor performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and secure our systems.
- To analyse aggregate usage so we can improve product quality.
- To send service and transactional communications. Marketing email is sent only with consent and can be withdrawn at any time.
- To comply with applicable law and lawful requests from authorities.
We do not sell personal data.
4. Third-Party Processors
We share data with service providers only to the extent needed to run the service, under contract and confidentiality:
- Payment gateways authorised by the Reserve Bank of India, for payment processing and refunds.
- Analytics providers, for aggregate usage measurement.
- Cloud hosting, storage, and content-delivery providers.
- Email and messaging providers, for transactional communication.
- AI model and inference providers, where a product feature requires them to generate output.
We may also disclose data where required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of business assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply.
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for session management and security, and analytics cookies to understand how our pages are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential features may not work correctly if you do.
6. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Transaction records are retained for the period required under Indian tax and accounting law. When data is no longer required, it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
7. Security
We use HTTPS in transit, access controls, and least-privilege administration. Payments are handled on PCI-DSS compliant gateway infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
8. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your account and associated data, withdrawal of consent, and a summary of processing. Write to hello@zordant.com from your registered email address. We respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity before acting.
9. Children
Our products are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Governing Law & Changes
This policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Katni, Madhya Pradesh. Data may be processed on servers located outside India by our providers, with safeguards in place.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
